5. Set a positive example

The best managers are strong leaders, and the best way to lead is by example. You can get your workforce on the right track by personally living out the kind of behavior you want to see in your employees. 

For example, if punctuality is a significant issue among your staff, make sure you arrive at the office early. Similarly, if you notice that your team isn’t communicating clearly and consistently, you can make an organization-wide initiative by personally checking in with staff members and being transparent about your work processes.
